Niklas Süle will leave Bayern Munich next summer

German center-back Niklas Süle has not reached an agreement with Bayern Munich and, by his own wish, will leave the club, Oliver Kahn reported.

Bayern Munich’s German international defender Niklas Süle, whose contract ends in June, will leave the club at the end of the season with a release letter, Oliver Kahn, the Bavarian club’s chairman of the board, announced on Wednesday.

“Negotiations have been going on for a long time. We have made him an offer. He has not accepted it. He will leave the club at the end of the season,” Kahn told a news conference.

Kahn estimated that “a very good offer” was made to the 26-year-old (37 caps for Germany) but that his club must “respect certain financial limits.”

The specialized website Transfermarkt estimates the value of Süle at 35 million euros (39.5 million dollars), who arrived at Bayern in 2017, from Hoffenheim, for about 20 million euros (22.5 million dollars).

He has made 158 appearances so far for the German champion club.
